Can I drop in to classes?
Yes. New students are welcome to drop-in to the Adult Intro to Silks and CirqueFit+Conditioning classes. These are 1 hour classes and cost $25.
Intermediate and Advanced students can attend 1 hour and 20 minute technique classes at the drop-in rate of $30/class. If you are a student from another studio please check with us before registering for Intermediate/Advanced classes to discuss pre-requisites and/or schedule and Assessment.
Students 15 and under who are coming for the first time should email us at email@example.com.
What is an Assessment?
An Assessment is a 30 minute private that is meant to help Factory staff assess which level is appropriate for a new student. Cost is $45.
What are Memberships?
Memberships are available for students to buy a pack of classes for use each month. Current Memberships include:
- 4 classes / month : $100 ($25/class)
- 8 classes / month : $185 ($23.13/class)
- 12 classes / month : $275 ($22.92/class)
Un-used classes do not roll-over into the next month and are not refundable. Memberships are only available for students who have a credit card on file. Memberships will be set up via Auto-pay and will charge clients on the first of each month. To change Membership level or cancel, we require notification in writing via an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 20th for changes to take effect for the next month.
Sign up for the classes you plan to attend! Paying for a Membership does NOT guarantee a spot in class. While many classes are available to drop-in, to ensure you get a spot in your preferred class you must log-in to Mindbody online or via the App. If you need help setting your log-in information, let us know and we are happy to help.
If a class is cancelled due to a holiday or instructor illness, that un-unused class will rollover into the next month. Memberships are not available for purchase online. Please contact us if you would like assistance.
What is the difference between "early cancel" and "Late cancel" ?
Students are allowed to Early Cancel and withdraw from classes up until 24 hours before a class is scheduled to start and have that class credited back to their account. This can be done through Mindbody or by emailing email@example.com. If a student cancels within 24 hours of the class start time, it is considered a "Late Cancel" and the credit will be deducted from their Account.
If a student becomes ill or injured and needs to withdraw from classes, a doctor’s letter must be submitted in advance informing us that a student will not be continuing with classes. Un-used classes will be credited to the students' account and Memberships can be placed on hold until the student is able to return to class. It is not possible to credit classes retroactively.
SUMMER CAMP REFUND POLICY
If cancelling within 30 days of camp, there are no refunds unless the spot can be filled by someone on the Waitlist. In the case the spot can be filled, we offer a 50% refund after a $30 administrative fee has been deducted. Cancellations with more than 30 days notice will be refunded in full minus the $30 administrative fee.
There are NO refunds for workshops.
What should I expect?
All classes begin with a dynamic warm-up that includes stretching, cardio, and conditioning. Classes will review skills introduced in preview classes, offer drills to clarify technique, introduce new materials, and/or pose creative challenges to work on individually or in small groups. The Factory is a safe and supportive environment that is non-competitive and friendly, and we offer progressions and variations for all levels.
What should I wear and bring?
For aerial classes, wear leggings, yoga pants, or tights that cover the backs of the knees and either a leotard or a shirt that can be tucked in. Please have hair tied back and remove jewelry before class. Bring a full water bottle.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, private instruction is available for all levels of aerial on silk, rope, trapeze, and lyra, as well as for handstands and acrobatics.

What is Intermediate/Advanced Open Training?
Open Training times are designed for Intermediate and Advanced students to practice skills they’ve learned in workshops and classes, to work on acts, and to explore and create. While we encourage creative exploration, we have a strict no-peer teaching policy. There is no formal instruction at Community Training. Hosts are available to take payment and answer any questions. Hosts have final say in what is appropriate at Open Gym.
I want to perform!
The Factory produces a Student Showcase about every 6 months to highlight our amazing group of students. Anyone is welcome to participate, and we encourage students of all levels to be involved. Watch for updates in The Factory newsletter and on our Facebook page about upcoming Showcases. The next Showcase will be on April 14th at the Veteran’s Memorial Building. We ask all participants to pay a small fee that goes toward the venue rental and professional lighting design.
How do I sign up?
